1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QR Lama ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
QR Lama is a web-based platform that allows users to create, manage, and track dynamic QR codes. Dynamic QR codes route through our servers, enabling real-time destination changes, scan analytics, and management without reprinting. We provide tools for QR code customization including colors, logos, dot styles, and multiple QR code types (URL, vCard, WiFi, Email, and more).
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using your email address and password, or through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
4. Free Trial & Subscriptions
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. During the trial, you may create QR codes, customize designs, and access scan analytics. After the trial period ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan (Basic, Advanced, or Professional) to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your dynamic QR codes will be automatically deactivated and will no longer redirect to their destinations.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on your selected plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your QR codes remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which they will be deactivated. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
6. QR Code Usage
Dynamic QR codes created through QR Lama route through our servers. This means that when someone scans your QR code, the request passes through our infrastructure before redirecting to your destination URL. We collect scan data including browser type, operating system, scan time, and approximate location for analytics purposes. You agree not to use QR codes for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes, including but not limited to phishing, malware distribution, or spam.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by QR Lama and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service (such as logos or destination URLs). By using the Service, you grant QR Lama a limited license to process and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
QR Lama is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Lama shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting support. Upon termination, your QR codes will be deactivated and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
